We each bring our own experience and a variety of different backgrounds to T & T Band. We share a mutual passion and love for the creation of music. We work hard to bring the best performance, sound, lighting and entertainment to every venue we play! And boy do we have fun! Check out the faces that make up T & T Band below.
Terry Wood
Guitar, Synth Guitar, Vocals
"Where’s your keyboard player, you ask? Well he’s a gnome hiding inside the guitar of Terry Wood. For those not familiar with a guitar synth, it is a synthesizer that is controlled by the strings of an electric guitar and Terry Wood is one of the FEW that really know how to use it. We call on him for rhythm guitar, saxophone, piano, wind, strings, and even some strange sound effects we don’t know the name of. Aside from the synth, Terry is a very soulful and serious guitar player, since picking it up at age 14. His influences include: Mark Knophler, Carlos Santana, and Stella Artois — that last one is for moral support.
Teresa Deaton
Lead Singer, Keys
Teresa grew up singing in church and started T & T Band with Terry in 2015. She studied music at IBC in Indianapolis and is thrilled to be making music with this excellent group of musicians! Influences include Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Janis Joplin, and Halestorm.
David Marshall
Lead Guitar, Vocals
A powerhouse career musician, Dave adds the spice to our sassy sound. When he's not rocking the guitar, you might catch him on drums or bass - he's versatile like that. If you'll listen really closely you may catch us playing one of his originals!
David Ramsey
Bassist
He may be barefoot but he'll rock your socks off! Dave has been playing in Kansas City for 20+ years with such bands as Teacherz Pet, Atlantic Express, Retroactive and Chapter 5. He's a classically trained pianist and it shows in his strong and varied bass work.
Phil Antkowicz
Drummer
With a Masters Degree in Percussion Performance, Phil keeps us rockin with his awesome beats! He's played all over KC in such bands as Crossroads, Last Call and 455 Rocket. When he's not making music with us you can catch him showing his tropical side as Chill Phil the Steel Pan Man.
